“With four weeks remaining in the regular season, the Mambas sensing the urgency of their season continued their surge, taking control early and never looking back in a win over the Piranhas. Forward Anson Robinson led the Mambas with 17 pts 8 rebounds, as the Mambas spaced the floor and attacked gaps in the Piranhas defense with precision.
“Point guard Jahlunde Wilson-Johnston led the Piranhas with 15 pts, 4 assists in the loss, but the Bulldogs have now lost 3 straight games and fallen to third place in the standings at 4-6.

“Game two delivered a heavyweight showdown as the undefeated Cobras at 9-0 faced the second place Bulldogs in a battle of styles.
“From tip-off, it was evident: the Cobras wanted pace, Bulldogs wanted control. The Cobras pushed the tempo and attacked early, while the Bulldogs leaned on their size and tried to dominate the “boards, while slowing the game down.
“In the end, The Cobras relentless firepower proved too much. The trio of Troy Washington Jr, Quinton Husband and Max Kimberley combined for 48 points and 29 rebounds, powering the Cobras to their 10 th straight win.
“The Bulldogs fought and put on a late surge behind the scoring duo of Szaine Williams and Jordon Marsh, who combined for 40 points, but could not overcome the Cobras depth and relentless tempo.
