BYB League Playoff action began April 18, 2026 at MSA Gymnasium.

The Bermuda Youth Basketball League semifinals saw the Bulldogs defeat the defending champions Mambas 75-55 at MSA Gymnasium on Saturday, securing their place in the 2026 BYB Championship Final. A spokesperson said, “Bermuda Youth Basketball League playoff action tipped off this past Saturday at MSA Gymnasium with a highly anticipated rematch of last year’s championship, this time in the semifinals between the Mambas and Bulldogs. “From the opening tip, the Bulldogs made it clear this would not be a repeat of last season. Playing with aggression and intent, the Bulldogs relentlessly attacked the rim and kept the Mambas on their tails all game.

The defending BYB Champions Mambas showed flashes of their title form, but inconsistency, an issue all season showed up again. Despite having the league-leading scorer Ajani Carey and top three-point shooter Anson Robinson, the Mambas struggled offensively, shooting just 38% from the field, though a respectable 37% from deep kept them within reach. “The Bulldogs locked in. Shooting an efficient 47% from the field and a scorching 57% from three shutting down any hopes of a Mambas comeback and a third straight BYB Finals appearance. “Jordon Marsh led all scorers with a dominant 31 pts on 12 for 24 shooting, while forward Jamie Ashton added 20 pts and 5 rebs for the Bulldogs.

Ajani Carey had 17 points on 7 for 22 shooting, while teammates Riley Carreon shot 50% from three for 11 pts and Anson Robinson grabbed 15 rebounds for Mambas respectively. “The Bulldogs roll to an emphatic 75 – 55 victory, punching their ticket to a second straight BYB Championship Finals. “2026 BYB Championship Finals on Saturday April 25, 2026 at MSA Gymnasium Cobras vs Bulldogs 5pm.
