The first game on Saturday evening's double header action saw the 1-0 Cobras face the 1-0 Mambas. The Cobras played with only 5 players which should have been a disadvantage going up agaisnt the reigning BYB Champions but in a n odd twist it actually powered them to victory. Playing with no bench help the Cobras took the game right to the Mambas playing at a pace that would require constant substitution the Cobras proved to be the hungier team. The Mambas didnt exactly lay down but may have thought this game would be easy due to Cobras lack of depth. Ryan Green Led the Cobras with 22 pts along with Troy washington Jr double double 19 pts 15 rebs were enough to outpace Ajani Carey's 26 pts 10 rebs night. Final score 53-47

The final game of the evening featured two fiesty teams looking for their first win of the season. The Bulldogs took on the Piranhas in a tightly contested and often heated game between two teams who refuse to lose. The scrappy game went to the wire with the Bullogs earning their first victory behing their point guard Blake Johnston's 12 pts 5 stls. The Piranhas led by Maxwell Lawrence and Stasio Raynor-Weller who each had 11 pts and a cmbined 19 rebounds wasn't enough to steal a win. Final score 35-34.
