Week three of the 2025-26 BYB League action took place this past Saturday November 22 at MSA Gymnasium with our usual slate of double header games.

The first game of the evening saw the 1-1 Mambas take on a winless Piranhas team who are still looking for their first win of this young BYB season. The defending champoions took no mercy on a Piranhas team who were without the services of two starters Maxwell lawrenve and Stasio Raynor-Weller and a key rotaion player Luka Cedeno respectivley. Although unmanned the Piranhas did not make the game as easy as the score would dictate.

The Piranhas led by the timely 3pt shooting of Enmanuel Madera Blanco (12 pts) and the constant rim attacks by point guard Jahlunde Wilson-Johnston kept them in the game for the first half. However, the second half was a totally different game as the Mambas led by Ajani Carey (17pts) and Anson Robinson's career high 32 pts 23 rebounds looked to distanced themselves and push the lead to over 20 points. Anson was out to prove why he was awarded last season's BYB League Leader in 3pt shots made. Anson shot 11-13 FG, with 6-10 from the free throw line, 4-6 on 3's and a perfect 7-7 on 2 pt shots to go along with his dominating 23 rebounds. Final score 63-27

The Final game of the evening saw the undefeated Cobras take on the 1-1 Bulldogs. The Cobras have shown once again that they mean business as they put a leash on a fiesty Bulldogs team who has the potential to be the best team in the league. The Bulldogs team who were 2025 BYB Finalist last season has revamped their roster with alot of new talent and will need time to gel but their tenacity is their trademark as players such as Xazi James and Christian Hanwell play with heart, hustle, grit and determination. The Bulldogs showcased their potentail with Jordan Marsh (14pts) and Blake Johnston (13pts) leading the attack with Tre Simmons rebounding (13) but the Cobras balanced scoring and pace prove to be too much for a Bulldogs team still trying to find its identity as four Cobras scored atleast 10 points led by Troy Washington Jr (20 pts) Quinton Husband (15 pts) Chayce Glasford (12 pts) and Max Kimberly (10 pts). Final score 64-47
