Bermuda Youth Basketball (BYB) tips off its fourth season on Saturday, October 31, at MSA Gymnasium, with an opening night doubleheader featuring renewed rivalries, competitive basketball, and an exciting atmosphere for fans.

With two competitive matchups, an energetic game-day atmosphere, and a special treat awaiting fans as they enter the gymnasium, BYB is inviting families, friends, and basketball enthusiasts to come out and experience the action firsthand.

Doors open at 4:30 PM, with the first tip-off scheduled for 4:45 PM.

The evening begins with the Mambas taking on the defending champion Cobras. The Cobras will be looking to establish themselves as the team to beat once again, while the Mambas will be eager to make an early statement.

At 5:45 PM, the Bulldogs face the Tigers in the second matchup of the evening, with both teams looking to get off to a winning start.

Raising the Standard

BYB is also celebrating an important milestone in its continued development, transitioning from volunteer parent referees to official certified basketball referees.

The transition reflects the League's growth and its expanding partnerships with Bermuda's wider basketball community while reinforcing BYB's commitment to providing a structured, competitive environment for young athletes.

BYB acknowledges the parents who generously volunteered their time to officiate games in previous years, helping to establish the foundation for this next step.

Come for the Basketball, Stay for the Experience

Designed for players ages 14–18, the BYB League brings together competitive basketball, team rivalries, player statistics, highlights, music, awards, and an engaging atmosphere for spectators.
